Can I return blank samples?Updated 21 days ago

Yes, blank (non-decorated) samples can be returned within 21 days, as long as they are unused and in new condition. Some brands, however, are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.


How Sample Returns Work

Lead Apparel allows customers to order blank samples to evaluate size, fit, and quality before placing a custom order. If the brand is eligible for returns, you have up to 21 days from delivery to request a return.

To start the process, you’ll need to email [email protected]. Our team will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number along with detailed return instructions, including the correct return address.

Returned items must be in new, unused condition with original tags attached. Items that show any signs of wear—such as stains, odors, damage, or pet hair—will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.


Important Condition Requirements

Because samples are intended to represent new merchandise, all returned items must be in resellable condition. Trying on items is fine, but they should not be worn, washed, or altered in any way.

Returns that do not meet these standards may be rejected, so we recommend carefully repacking items before sending them back.


Brands That Are Not Eligible for Returns

Some premium and specialty brands do not allow returns or exchanges on sample orders. These items are considered final sale.

If you choose to sample from one of these brands and decide to move forward with a custom order, you can send those same items back to us for decoration, which helps avoid reordering.


What If I Want to Customize My Samples?

If you decide to proceed with branding after receiving your samples, you don’t need to order again. Instead, you can ship your samples directly to our facility, and we’ll use them for your custom order.

This is especially helpful for non-returnable brands and can save both time and cost.


Additional Things to Keep in Mind

Sample returns only apply to blank (non-decorated) items. Once an item has been customized with your logo, it becomes a final sale and is not eligible for return or exchange.

We also recommend reviewing product details and sizing guides before ordering samples to minimize the need for returns.
